Instructions

  3. Prepare the roux: Once the butter melts, sprinkle in the flour, mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and optional cayenne. Whisk constantly until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the milk: Gradually whisk in the milk.
  5. Melt the cheese: Once the mixture warms, add the grated white cheddar cheese, whisking until melted.
  6. Combine with pasta: Stir in the cooked pasta until fully coated in the cheese sauce.
