Description

Air Fried Pork Dumplings are a delightful fusion of crispy exteriors and juicy, flavorful fillings. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch followed by a burst of savory pork and aromatic spices, making them an irresistible treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pork Filling:
    • 1 pound ground pork
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
    • 1/4 cup grated ginger
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Dumpling Wrappers:
    • 30 round dumpling wrappers
  • For Air Frying:
    • Cooking spray or oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Place a dumpling wrapper in the palm of your hand and add about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the dumplings in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
  6. Brush the tops of the dumplings with oil or cooking spray.
  7. Air fry the dumplings for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: You can prepare the dumplings and freeze them before cooking. Just place them in a single layer on a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag.
  • Storage: Cooked dumplings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Substitutions: Ground chicken or turkey can be used instead of pork for a lighter option.
