Description

Crispy and delicious tofu nuggets made in an air fryer, perfect for a healthy snack or meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat each tofu piece in the cornstarch mixture, then dip in olive oil, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the coated tofu nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure to press the tofu well to remove excess moisture for better crispiness.
  • Feel free to add your favorite spices to the coating mixture.
  • These nuggets can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
