Description
A delicious and moist apple cinnamon swirl loaf that is perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For best results, use a mix of sweet and tart apples.
- This loaf can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
