Description

Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bars are a delightful combination of creamy cheesecake and a crunchy apple crisp topping, making them an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine sliced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, then layer over the cheesecake mixture.
  6. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and nuts (if using) to create the topping, then sprinkle over the apples.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.

  • For a richer flavor, use a mix of different apple varieties.
