Ingredients
Scale
- For the Ham:
1 (8-10 lb) spiral-cut ham - For the Glaze:
1 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Place the spiral-cut ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
- In a medium saucepan, combine apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and cloves. Heat over medium until melted and well combined.
- Brush half of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it seeps between the slices.
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove the foil, brush with the remaining glaze, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ham is heated through and caramelized.
- Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This ham can be made a day in advance; simply reheat in the oven at 300°F (149°C) for about 30 minutes before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For a lower sugar option, substitute apricot preserves with sugar-free preserves.
