Ingredients

Scale
  • Tuna Cakes:
    • 2 cans (5 oz each) of tuna, drained
    • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 green onions, finely chopped
    • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 1 large egg, beaten
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spicy Mayo:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
    • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into 8 equal patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the tuna cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the cakes are cooking, prepare the spicy mayo by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  6. Once cooked, remove the tuna cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with the spicy mayo on the side.
