  • Liquids:
    • 4 cups beef broth
    • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
  2. Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the diced onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the milk, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the cooked bacon. Heat through for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with remaining bacon and additional cheese if desired.
