Ingredients

  • Bananas: 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • Eggs: 6 large eggs
  • Milk: 2 cups whole milk
  • Vanilla Extract: 2 teaspoons
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup, packed
  • Butter: 4 tablespoons, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the bread cubes, followed by half of the banana slices.
  4. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread and bananas, then repeat the layers with the remaining bread, bananas, and egg mixture.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the casserole.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
