Description

Baked Eggs Napoleon is a delightful breakfast dish featuring layers of flaky pastry, creamy eggs, and rich cheese, perfect for a satisfying morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
  3. Place the pastry squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture on top of the pastry squares.
  6. Make a small well in the center of each cheese-topped pastry and crack an egg into each well.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of the eggs.
  8. Brush the edges of the pastry with olive oil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the pastry is golden brown.
