Description

Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 300g pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 500g cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the baking dish: In a medium-sized baking dish, place the cherry tomatoes all around the feta cheese block at the center.
  3. Season: Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and feta. Generously sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and let it bake for 25-30 minutes until tomatoes blister and feta becomes gooey.
  5. Cook the pasta: While the tomatoes and feta bake, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Combine: Once out of the oven, stir the melted feta and roasted tomatoes together in their juices. Toss in the cooked pasta until well-coated.
  7. Garnish and serve: Finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil and serve warm.
