Delicious baked Italian sub sandwiches filled with savory meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 8 oz sliced salami
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 8 oz provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Layer the salami, ham, pepperoni, and provolone cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  4. Add the shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and black olives on top of the cheese.
  5. Drizzle Italian dressing over the toppings and sprinkle with dried oregano.
  6. Place the top half of the bread on the sandwich.
  7. Wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, unwrap, slice, and serve warm.
