Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then add in the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat until combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder in another bowl.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the milk and optional chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the batter and dot with small pieces of butter.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
