Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Roll out the banana bread dough on a floured surface and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
