Description

Delightful banana donut holes that are fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, perfect for brunch or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix the sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla extract into the banana puree.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to about 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry spoonfuls of batter in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve warm with powdered sugar or your favorite icing.
