  • 4 large eggs

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
