Description

Crispy salmon bites coated in a creamy, sweet, and spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped, for garnish
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Coating: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  2. Coat the Salmon: Toss each salmon piece in the flour mixture to ensure a solid coating.
  3. Fry the Salmon: Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry salmon bites for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Create the Bang Bang Sauce: In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice, stirring until smooth.
  5. Toss with Sauce and Serve: Toss the fried salmon bites in the sauce and serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Meal-prep the bang bang sauce in advance for convenience. Use an air fryer for a lighter version while maintaining crispiness.
