Description

BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders are a delicious and flavorful dish perfect for gatherings and parties, featuring tender pulled pork smothered in BBQ sauce served on soft slider buns.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, onion, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over it.
  4. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 3-4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before shredding it with two forks.
  6. Mix the shredded pork with the remaining BBQ sauce in the pan.
  7. Serve the pulled pork on slider buns and top with coleslaw if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight in the BBQ sauce mixture.
  • These sliders can be made in a slow cooker for convenience.
