- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering.
- Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture and stir until well blended.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Let it cool before serving.

- Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries for added flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free cookies for the crust.
