Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering.
  6. Remove from heat and add chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
  8. Combine the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture and stir until well blended.
  9. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set.
  11. Let it cool before serving.
