Description
Breakfast Pigs in Blanket are a delicious and easy-to-make morning treat, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients

- 1 package of mini sausages (about 12–16 sausages)
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of mustard (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- If using, place a small amount of cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
- Place a mini sausage on top of the cheese (or directly on the dough if not using cheese).
- Roll the dough around the sausage, starting from the wide end and rolling to the point.
- Place the rolled pigs in a blanket on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the rolled sausages for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier version, use spicy sausages.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
