- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and mix well.
- Gradually add flour, salt, and cinnamon; knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread diced apples and caramel sauce on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
- Feel free to add nuts for extra crunch.
