Description
A comforting sandwich with layers of succulent turkey, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar on toasted sourdough.
Ingredients

- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 4 ounces turkey breast
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 slices cooked bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Dollop Dijon mustard on top of the mayonnaise on one slice.
- Layer cheddar cheese on top of the mustard-coated bread.
- Add crispy bacon over the cheese.
- Top with turkey breast, spreading it out evenly.
- Close the sandwich with the second slice of sourdough, mayo side in.
- Heat skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove the sandwich once both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
- Let it rest before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider adding a sprinkle of garlic powder to the butter.
