A delicious and hearty casserole combining cheeseburgers and tater tots for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
- Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Add the cooked beef mixture and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the soup mixture and stir to combine.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite burger toppings like pickles or tomatoes.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
