Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground chicken, grated onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well integrated.
  2. Shape the mixture into oval-shaped kofta, roughly the size of an egg.
  3. Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the kofta for approximately 5-6 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  4. Prepare the creamy garlic yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a separate bowl until smooth.
  5. Plate the kofta warm, drizzling with the yogurt sauce and garnishing with chopped parsley.
