- 1 pkg Crescent Roll Dough
- 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 4 tbsp Butter (for sauce)
- 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (for sauce)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (for sauce)
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (for sauce)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and melted butter.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Fill the Dough: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto each triangle and roll them up.
- Brush and Coat: Optionally dip each pillow in beaten egg and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Bake the Pillows: Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter, whisk in flour, then gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until thickened. Stir in parmesan cheese and seasonings.
- Serve: Plate your Chicken Pillows and drizzle generously with sauce.
