Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are a delightful fusion of soft, gooey cinnamon rolls and crispy French toast. Each bite is a warm, sweet explosion of cinnamon and vanilla, perfectly complemented by a drizzle of creamy icing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Cinnamon Roll Base:
    • 1 can (16.5 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • French Toast Mixture:
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • For Cooking:
    • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Icing:
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  6. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Transfer the cooked bites to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.
  8. While baking, mix the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to create the icing.
  9. Remove the bites from the oven, drizzle with icing, and serve warm.
