Description

Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes are bite-sized treats coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While the donut holes are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a bowl.
  8. Once baked, remove the donut holes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  9. Roll the warm donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the batter.
  • These donut holes are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
