Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Grease a donut pan and fill each cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. While the donuts are baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a shallow bowl.
  8. Once baked, let the donuts cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the pan.
  9. While still warm, roll each donut in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
