Description

A deliciously indulgent treat that combines the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with warm cinnamon swirls for a cozy experience.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until integrated.
  5. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  6. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix evenly.
  7. Add flour gradually, stirring until just combined.
  8. Mix cinnamon with a bit of sugar in another bowl for the swirl.
  9. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon mixture.
  10. Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  11. Gently swirl the batter with a knife to create patterns.
  12. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  13. Cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

For a different flavor, you can substitute coconut oil for butter or add chocolate chips to the batter.
