Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Meatballs:
    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 large egg
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Cranberry Sauce:
    • 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
    • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • For Assembly:
    • 12 slider buns
    • 1 cup shredded lettuce
    • 1/2 cup sliced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 equal-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the cranberry sauce by mixing cranberry sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the cranberry sauce until well coated.
  7. To assemble the sliders, place a meatball on each slider bun, top with shredded lettuce and pickles if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make-ahead: You can prepare the meatballs a day in advance and store them in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Storage: Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Substitutions: Ground turkey or chicken can be used instead of beef for a lighter option.
