  • Liquids:

    • 1 tsp paprika
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the carrots, celery, and potatoes, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Add the green beans, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and heat through, about 2-3 minutes. Do not boil.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
