- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the carrots, celery, and potatoes, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the green beans, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and heat through, about 2-3 minutes. Do not boil.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
