- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pound steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- For the Garnish:
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add the shrimp and Creole seasoning, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove the steak and shrimp mixture from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, place one tortilla and sprinkle half of the Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese on one half of the tortilla.
- Layer the steak and shrimp mixture over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Repeat with the second tortilla.
- Slice into wedges and serve with sour cream, cilantro, and lime wedges.
