Description

Easter Ham and Cheddar Pinwheels are a delightful combination of creamy, tangy cream cheese and savory ham, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch from the fresh vegetables, balanced by the rich, melty cheddar cheese, creating a flavor explosion that is both refreshing and indulgent.

Ingredients

  • Tortillas: 4 large flour tortillas
  • Spread: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Cheese: 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Ham: 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • Vegetables: 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper, 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion, 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • Seasoning: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Layer the sliced ham on top of the cheese, followed by the chopped vegetables.
  5. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a log shape.
  6. Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Once chilled, remove the plastic wrap and slice the pinwheels into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
