A simple and delicious recipe for Chicken Kiev that is easy to make at home.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness.
- Take a portion of the butter mixture and place it in the center of each chicken breast. Fold the sides over and roll tightly.
- Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the chicken rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add other herbs to the butter mixture.
- Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
- Make sure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
