Description

A simple and delicious recipe for Chicken Kiev that is easy to make at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness.
  4. Take a portion of the butter mixture and place it in the center of each chicken breast. Fold the sides over and roll tightly.
  5. Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the chicken rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add other herbs to the butter mixture.
  • Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
  • Make sure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
