  • For the Garlic Butter:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp dried rosemary
    • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet, dimpling the surface with your fingers.
  7. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then add minced garlic, rosemary, and sea salt. Stir until fragrant.
  8. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough, reserving some for later.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with remaining garlic butter before serving.
