These fudgy brownie waffles are a decadent treat that combines the rich, chocolatey flavor of brownies with the crispy exterior of waffles. Each bite offers a delightful contrast between the crunchy edges and the gooey, molten center, making them an irresistible dessert or breakfast option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or butter.

  8. Carefully remove the waffles and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
