- 1 box of funfetti cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
- 2 cups of whipped cream
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of rainbow sprinkles
- 1 cup of vanilla frosting
- 1/2 cup of milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the funfetti cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
- Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into a large bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the whipped cream, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Layer half of the crumbled cake in the bottom of a lasagna dish.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the cake layer.
- Sprinkle half of the rainbow sprinkles on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, cream mixture, and sprinkles.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add vanilla extract to the cream mixture.
- Feel free to use different colored sprinkles for a festive look.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
