Description

Gordon Ramsay’s Chicken Tikka Masala is a flavorful and aromatic dish that combines tender chicken pieces marinated in spices and yogurt, cooked in a rich tomato-based sauce.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, diced
  • 200g yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Add the diced chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in canned tomatoes and coconut milk, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili powder to the marinade.
  • Serve with basmati rice or naan for a complete meal.
