Description

A refreshing and unique twist on the classic margarita, featuring grilled peaches and a spicy chili salt rim.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (optional)
  • Chili salt for rimming the glass
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Grill the peach halves for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they have grill marks and are slightly softened.
  3. Remove the peaches from the grill and let them cool slightly.
  4. In a blender, combine the grilled peaches, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
  5. Rim the glass with chili salt by running a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it into the chili salt.
  6. Fill the glass with ice and pour the peach margarita mixture over the ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less agave syrup based on your preference.
  • For a smokier flavor, grill the peaches a little longer.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger batch.
