Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons za’atar spice blend
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers (soaked in water)
Instructions
- Press the tofu by wrapping it in a towel and placing a weight on it for 15-20 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- Mix za’atar, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the tofu cubes in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated tofu pieces onto soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Serve warm, drizzled with leftover marinade.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes before grilling to avoid burning. Marinating the tofu longer enhances flavors.
