  • 6 large buttery croissants, cut into quarters
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Evenly spread out the quartered croissants in the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded Swiss cheese over the croissants.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, milk, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant layers.
  6. Press down on the croissants gently using a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh chives before serving.
