Ingredients

  • Bacon: 4 slices, cut in half
  • Eggs: 2 large, preferably organic
  • Butter: 1 tablespoon, for greasing
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat (about 350°F).
  2. Arrange the halved bacon slices in a heart shape in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  3. Carefully flip the bacon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the other side is crispy.
  4. Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add butter to grease the surface.
  6. Crack the eggs into the center of the heart-shaped bacon, cooking for about 2-3 minutes for sunny-side up or until the whites are set.
