Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
