Description

Homemade Fireball Whiskey Caramels are a delicious treat that combines the warmth of cinnamon whiskey with the rich sweetness of caramel.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Fireball Whiskey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and heavy cream over medium heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a boil.
  3. Once boiling, stop stirring and let it cook until it reaches a deep amber color (about 10-15 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and carefully stir in Fireball Whiskey, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Pour the caramel into a greased 8×8 inch pan and let it cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.

Notes

  • Be careful when adding the whiskey as the mixture may bubble up.
  • Store the caramels in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
