Ingredients

- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 cups sourdough starter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the bread flour, rolled oats, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the sourdough starter, honey, and water until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 1-2 hours.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For a sweeter bread, add more honey to taste.
- Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
- This bread can be frozen for longer storage.
