Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Add the ground beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through.
  4. To assemble, take a lettuce leaf and add a spoonful of the cooked beef.
  5. Top with shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and chopped green onions.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add gochujang (Korean chili paste) to the marinade.
