- 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Add the ground beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through.
- To assemble, take a lettuce leaf and add a spoonful of the cooked beef.
- Top with shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and chopped green onions.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add gochujang (Korean chili paste) to the marinade.
- Feel free to add other toppings like kimchi or avocado.
