A simple and delicious casserole that combines the flavors of traditional cabbage rolls without the hassle of rolling them.
Ingredients

- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until it begins to soften.
- Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra flavor.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
