A delicious low carb twist on the classic Nashville hot chicken, these bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks are spicy, cheesy, and perfect for a snack or appetizer.

- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 tablespoon Nashville hot chicken seasoning
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- In a bowl, mix the almond flour and grated Parmesan cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg and water.
- Dip each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick into the egg mixture, then coat with the almond flour and Parmesan mixture.
- Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle the Nashville hot chicken seasoning over the sticks.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more Nashville hot seasoning.
- Serve with a low carb dipping sauce if desired.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
