Description

Experience the succulent, flaky texture of perfectly grilled Mahi Mahi, complemented by a luscious mango lime butter that melts into a creamy, tropical delight. Each bite bursts with the vibrant flavors of fresh mango and zesty lime, creating a harmonious balance that dances on your palate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Mahi Mahi:
    • 4 Mahi Mahi fillets (6 oz each)
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • For the Mango Lime Butter:
    • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    • 1 teaspoon lime zest
    • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture over both sides of the Mahi Mahi fillets.
  3. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
  4. While the fish is grilling, prepare the mango lime butter by combining the diced mango, softened butter, lime juice, lime zest, and honey in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  5. Once the Mahi Mahi is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  6. Top each fillet with a generous dollop of mango lime butter before serving.
