- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- For the Egg Rolls:
- 20 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with a corner pointing towards you.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
